In this special edition of Plug and Play, the CREA pop bands of the pop band course take the stage! In this course participants learn to play along with others and this is their chance to show what they have learned in the past 15 weeks! Their teachers/coaches will be there to introduce them.

Plug and Play is CREA’s monthly open mic night on Saturdays, showcasing larger musical acts and bands in the CREA music hall. A platform for young and upcoming artists to perform their work and present it to a live audience.

Plug and Play: CREA Pop Bands

Join the queer student association Spotlight on Valentine's day to celebrate queer love in all of its dimensions: romantic, platonic and familial, contemporary and historical, here and across the world.

Beyond enjoying a regular social event (and delicious vegan food), you can:

Learn more about queer history worldwide through an educational exhibition prepared by Spotlight members;

Make DIY Valentine's cards for your loved ones (or use ready-made designs created by Spotlight artists);

Meet new people through speed-friending (like speed-dating, but for friends!) at 19:30!

Don't get discouraged by the long runtime—you can stay for the whole night, come in at the beginning for an hour and then run off to your Valentine's date, or come in at the end after a long day of other adventures. The goal is to be flexible!

In vorige seizoenen kon je bij ons Paulien Cornelisse, Nabil, Kim Schuddeboom, Lebbis, Teun van den Elzen, Ronald Goedemondt, Kasper van der Laan en vele andere talenten zien. Wie het dit seizoen zijn? Kom kijken naar hun gloednieuwe materiaal bij Goedkoop Cabaret. Kom kijken!

Latin Night at CREA

Meet Atul Khatri, a middle-aged ex-CEO -tuned-comedian who quit his job in 2016 and now makes a living making people laugh harder than they ever have. Please watch his comedy special on Netflix as part of “Comedians of the World” which featured the globe’s top 47 comedians.
Bringing his 55+ year old perspective, Atul starts this brand new show with how he is grateful to his audiences who buy tickets and come out to support live comedy. Atul then talks about how he lost 5 of his best friends who migrated to the USA after graduation and their stories whenever they visit India. He then talks about his experiences of how the USA has turned from the land of opportunities to the land of gratuities. His fun set includes his relationship with his 4-year-old grandson, his Indie dog Mr Butter Khatri. So, after 30+ years of marriage and surviving 2 children and 1 grand-child, Atul can proudly proclaim that he is “Well-Trained”.
